Fall Porch Guide: How to Keep Your Mums Looking Beautiful All Season

There’s nothing that says fall quite like a front porch full of mums. I love how they instantly make a space feel warm, seasonal, and inviting — but keeping them looking fresh can be a little tricky. After a few years (and a few wilted pots later), I’ve learned a handful of simple ways to keep them thriving all season long.

1. Choose the Right Plants

When you’re shopping, look for mums that have plenty of tightly closed buds — they’ll last longer and bloom beautifully once you bring them home. Fully open flowers are gorgeous for a few days but fade much faster.

2. Soak Before You Pot

Before transferring your mums into a decorative planter, give them a good drink. I like to fill a bucket or sink with water and soak the entire grower’s pot for about 30 minutes — this lets the roots absorb plenty of moisture and helps the plant adjust better once it’s in its new home.

3. Don’t Let Them Dry Out

Mums love consistent moisture. The soil should stay slightly damp — not soggy, but never bone dry. I like to check mine every morning and give them a good soak if the top inch of soil feels dry.

4. Give Them Good Drainage

If you’re using decorative pots, make sure there’s drainage underneath. Sitting water can cause root rot, which is the fastest way to lose them. I usually slip the grower’s pot into a pretty basket or ceramic planter so the water can still drain freely.

5. Find the Right Spot

Mums do best with plenty of sunlight — at least 4 to 6 hours a day. I like to keep ours near the front steps where they get morning light but a little shade in the afternoon.

6. Deadhead Regularly

To keep them blooming longer, snip off the spent flowers every few days. It encourages new buds to open and keeps the plants looking neat and full.

7. Protect from Cold Snaps

If a sudden cold front is coming through, move your pots closer to the house or cover them overnight. Mums are hardy, but a quick frost can shorten their lifespan.

With just a little extra care, mums can stay beautiful well into late fall. I love the tradition of picking them up every September — it’s such a simple way to bring color, life, and a bit of seasonal charm to your home.

September Things I Bought & Loved

I always love putting these posts together — they’re a mix of practical finds, cozy wardrobe updates, and little home details that make everyday life feel a bit more pulled together. September felt like a fresh start in every way — kids back to school, routines settling in, and a few new pieces that just made sense for the season.

Here’s what I bought and truly loved this month:

The Coziest Sweater

One of my all-time favorites. It’s one-size, and I have it in multiple colors. It’s perfect when you need something easy to throw on — looks great with jeans or shorts. I grabbed one in red this month to wear to my kids’ games (their team color!) and always get compliments on it.

The Coffee Maker Upgrade

This coffee maker was a total game changer. I finally retired my Keurig, and I can’t believe I waited this long. It grinds the beans fresh and brews the perfect cup every single time.

Ranch Teddy Cardigan

Soft, cozy, and perfectly oversized — the kind of cardigan you’ll live in on cool mornings or relaxed weekends.

Closet Hooks

A small but mighty Amazon find. These hooks are perfect for organizing scarves, belts, and bags — anything that tends to get lost in the shuffle.

New Denim

The fit is so good — polished but relaxed. I love a fresh pair of denim going into fall, and these instantly became a new favorite.

Black Cashmere Cardigan

Simple, classic, and timeless. A black cashmere cardigan always feels right — easy to layer and instantly elevated.

Olive Tweed Jacket

A forever piece. The olive tweed feels sophisticated yet wearable — perfect with denim or over a dress.

Velvet Hangers

Swapped out all my old wood hangers for these, and I can’t get over how much space I saved. My closet looks cleaner and more uniform — totally worth it.

Pale Blue Lamps

A subtle, elegant touch for the living room. The pale blue color feels fresh and soft — they instantly pulled the space together.

New Pillows

Nothing changes a room faster than new pillows. These added just the right amount of texture and warmth to our living space.

This Vase

Such a pretty shape — I’ve been using it with fresh hydrangeas from the yard. It’s simple but makes everything feel a little more intentional.

That’s everything from September — a mix of home updates, wardrobe staples, and a few things that just made everyday life run a little smoother. As always, I love sharing what’s really worth it — pieces that are beautiful and practical.

5 Slow Cooker Meals for a Busy Fall

Fall always seems to arrive with a full calendar — school routines, sports schedules, and everything in between. By the time dinner rolls around, I’m usually juggling homework, carpools, and trying to get everyone fed without losing my mind. That’s where my slow cooker comes in. It’s truly one of my most-used kitchen staples, and I honestly don’t know what I’d do without it. This one has been with me for years, and it makes weeknight dinners (and even weekend gatherings) so much easier.

I love that I can prep everything in the morning, set it, and walk away — then come home to the smell of a cozy, comforting dinner ready to serve. It feels like a little gift at the end of a long day. These recipes are on heavy rotation in my kitchen, and the best part is they’re family-approved. Here are five slow cooker meals that make busy fall nights so much easier:

1. Slow Cooker White Chicken Chili

Cozy, hearty, and a little lighter than the traditional version. I usually top mine with avocado, shredded cheese, and tortilla chips for crunch — everyone in the family loves it.

2. Slow Cooker Lemon Herb Chicken

Bright, flavorful, and a nice break from heavier fall meals. I love that this recipe tastes fresh but still cozy, and it makes the best leftovers for salads and sandwiches the next day.

3. Slow Cooker Honey Garlic Chicken

Sweet, savory, and so easy to throw together. This one is a weeknight lifesaver — I usually serve it over rice with a side of roasted veggies, and the kids always go back for seconds.

4. Slow Cooker Italian Beef (Mississippi Pot Roast)

Rich, tender, and full of flavor — I pile this onto sub rolls with melted provolone, and it’s one of my kids’ absolute favorites. It also works beautifully served over mashed potatoes for a cozy dinner at home.

5. Slow Cooker Steak Fajitas

Tender steak with peppers and onions, ready to wrap in warm tortillas with all the toppings. I love to set this out buffet-style so everyone can build their own — easy, fun, and always a crowd-pleaser.
Fall always feels like the busiest season, but these slow cooker recipes make dinner one thing I don’t have to stress about. If you don’t already have a slow cooker, this is the one I use — and I can’t recommend it enough. Here’s to more cozy, stress-free dinners this season!

Timeless Decor Pieces I Still Love

When I think back to my very first years of decorating — as an intern in college, living in a tiny apartment and saving up for little things that made my space feel more like home — I smile at how many of those pieces have truly stood the test of time. At the time, I wasn’t shopping with the mindset of “timeless” or “investment pieces.” I was drawn to things that felt elegant, personal, and elevated, even on a budget. And interestingly enough, those early finds are still the same elements I reach for today.

Timeless Decor Pieces I Still Love

Over the years, I’ve layered in new pieces, upgraded in some areas, and shifted my style a bit, but these classics remain constants in every home I’ve lived in. They’re versatile, chic, and proof that you don’t need to chase every new trend to create a space that feels both personal and polished.

Silver Trays

One of my very first “grown-up” purchases was a vintage silver tray from a local antique shop. I loved how it instantly elevated whatever it held, from perfume bottles to barware. To this day, I still use trays all over the house — they bring order, style, and a touch of shine that feels endlessly chic.

Black and White Photos in Frames

Printing photos at CVS or Walgreens was always easy and inexpensive. Framing favorite family snapshots or travel pictures instantly made my walls and shelves feel intentional and stylish. I still believe nothing adds character to a home faster than black and white photos grouped together in a cute frame.

Glass Hurricanes with Candles

Candles have always been my weakness, but placing them inside glass hurricanes was a trick I picked up early on. It adds height, presence, and a soft glow that feels sophisticated. Whether clustered on a mantle or set in the middle of a dining table, hurricanes make even a simple candle look special.

Coffee Table Books

I remember splurging on my very first coffee table book, feeling like it was such a luxury. Little did I know, they’d become one of my favorite styling tools. They add personality, color, and texture, while also reflecting your interests. I still love stacking them under objects, scattering them throughout the house, or displaying one open to a beautiful page.

Roses in Mint Julep Cups

This little trick never fails me: pick up a bundle of grocery store roses, cut them short, and tuck them into a silver mint julep cup. I learned it from watching Southern hostesses growing up, and it’s one I’ll never stop using. It’s a small gesture that feels polished but never fussy.

Crystal Pieces

Whether it was a vase I was gifted or candlesticks I found at a thrift shop, crystal was one of those materials I always gravitated toward. It catches the light and adds sparkle, whether styled on its own or mixed with modern pieces. I still love sprinkling little crystal touches throughout my home.

Marble Bowl

Last but not least, the marble bowl. Heavy, classic, and endlessly versatile. I’ve used mine for fruit, keys, or simply as a sculptural accent. It’s one of those pieces that looks good no matter where you place it.

It’s funny to look back and realize that the very first pieces I chose — when I was just starting out and finding my style — are the ones that have lasted the longest. They’ve moved with me from college apartments to family homes, always feeling just as relevant and chic. For me, that’s the best part of decorating: mixing old and new, layering in what you love, and realizing that timeless pieces only get better with age.

5 Easy Ways to Boost Your Home’s Curb Appeal

First impressions matter, and your home’s exterior sets the tone before anyone even steps inside. I’ve found that even the smallest updates can make such a difference. Whether you’re welcoming guests, listing your house, or just want to make everyday arrivals feel a little more special, these are five simple ways I love to elevate curb appeal:

1. Update Your House Numbers

One of the quickest swaps I’ve made is changing out house numbers. A clean, classic font instantly feels more polished and makes the entry look intentional.

2. Upgrade Hardware

I always notice hardware first — from the front door handle to the mail slot. Swapping in antique brass details feels substantial and timeless, instantly elevating the look of your entry.

3. Add Planters for a Touch of Greenery

I love the charm planters add outside. Whether it’s a woven basket planter or a classic blue-and-white ceramic pot, filling them with seasonal blooms or simple greenery always makes the entry feel welcoming.

4. Swap Out Lighting

For me, lighting is one of the most impactful changes. A lantern-style sconce by the front door brings warmth and character while also making the entryway feel cozy and safe.

5. Layer in Textures

I’m a big believer in finishing touches — a chic doormat,a fresh mailbox, or a decorative knocker can change the whole feel. Natural textures like a woven rug add personality and a sense of style right at the doorstep.

I love that curb appeal doesn’t require a full renovation. A few thoughtful updates can transform your entryway into a space that feels welcoming, stylish, and uniquely yours.

Charleston Mini Guide

I spent a few days in Charleston this fall with Erin and the Navy Bleu team while shooting my new collection, and it turned into such a fun little getaway. Between capturing content, catching up with friends, and wandering the charming streets, we managed to sneak in some incredible meals and discover a few local gems. Charleston is one of those cities that always has something new to offer, yet it feels timeless each time you return.

Where We Stayed

We checked into The Palmetto Hotel, and it couldn’t have been a better home base for our trip. The Palmetto feels quintessentially Charleston — elegant yet approachable, with interiors that mix historic charm and modern polish. The lobby is the kind of place you want to linger, with beautiful design details and a welcoming atmosphere, and the rooms are plush and thoughtfully designed, the perfect retreat after a busy day.

The location was one of my favorite parts — right in the historic district, which meant we could walk almost everywhere. Whether it was slipping out for coffee in the morning, heading to a shoot, or grabbing cocktails at sunset, everything felt close by. The Palmetto struck the perfect balance between tucked-away charm and being right in the middle of the action.

A Visit to The Dunlin

One afternoon, we made the short drive out to The Dunlin, Auberge Resorts Collection, for lunch and a walk around the property — and it instantly went on my list of places I’d love to return to for a longer stay. Nestled along the Kiawah River, it feels worlds away from the bustle of downtown Charleston, with sweeping marsh views, a slower pace, and the kind of Southern coastal setting that makes you want to exhale and linger.

Designed by Amanda Lindroth, the interiors are every bit as inspiring as the setting: airy, fresh, and layered with the sort of coastal charm she’s known for. Natural textures, playful details, and perfectly chosen colors make the spaces feel both relaxed and elevated. I left wanting to bring a little piece of that home with me — I’ve been scheming about what I could paint at home in the gorgeous farrow and ball breakfast room green used throughout the property. It was one of those design details that stuck with me and made the whole space feel grounded in the landscape.

Even just spending a few hours at The Dunlin gave me a glimpse of what makes it special: thoughtful design, incredible food, and that signature Auberge sense of place. It’s the kind of property that would be perfect for a quiet weekend escape, and I can’t wait to go back and experience it more fully.

Where We Ate

Charleston’s food scene is reason enough to plan a trip, and we were lucky to hit a few favorites:

  • 167 Raw – A Charleston staple with some of the freshest seafood around and a lively atmosphere that’s always buzzing.
  • Citrus Club – Perched on top of The Dewberry, this rooftop has the best views in the city. Sunset cocktails here are a must.
  • Sorelle – A newer spot that feels instantly timeless. Cozy, elegant, and one of those meals you’ll think about long after.
  • Slightly North of Broad (SNOB) – A true Charleston classic, blending Lowcountry flavors with an elevated, welcoming atmosphere.

Where to Shop

Charleston has no shortage of charming shops, and wandering King Street (and the surrounding neighborhoods) is always a highlight. A few favorites worth popping into:

  • Hart – Colorful, playful accessories and jewelry that add a little fun to any outfit.
  • Beau & Ro – A lifestyle boutique with clothing, handbags, and accessories — they even have their own line of beautiful woven bags.
  • Madison Mathews – Known for their easy, breezy block-print dresses that are perfect for the Lowcountry climate.
  • Lake Pajamas – The softest, chicest sleepwear, born in Charleston and loved everywhere.
  • Croghan’s Jewel Box – A true Charleston institution for fine jewelry and heirlooms, tucked inside a pink townhouse.
  • Juliska– The most beautiful shop full of timeless tableware, glassware, and home pieces that make everyday meals feel like a celebration.
  • Etu Home – Thoughtfully designed European-inspired home goods and kitchen pieces that make the perfect souvenir.
  • Julia Amory – A stop for timeless block-print clothing and tabletop linens that feel as at home in Charleston as they do by the beach.
  • And of course, I carried my Breck and Grier tote — it fit right in on Charleston’s colorful streets and was perfect for shopping days.

On My Radar for Next Time

A few days is never enough in Charleston, so I already have a running list of spots to try next:

  • Breakfast & Coffee
    • Harken
    • Babas on Cannon
    • Second State Coffee
    • Harbinger
    • Weltons Tiny Bake Shop
  • Restaurants
    • Leon’s
    • Chez Nous
    • Vern’s
    • Chubby Fish
    • Renzo
    • Post House (Mount Pleasant)
  • Winebar and Drinks
    • Seahorse Bar (a new speakeasy)
    • Graft
    • Tippling House
    • Babas on Cannon (I have heard they have a great aperitif)

What to Pack

Charleston’s charm calls for easy, polished pieces — think breezy dresses, comfortable shoes for wandering, and a tote that transitions seamlessly from day to night.

Things I Bought and Loved in August

August always feels like a little bit of a blur — the last weeks of summer, back-to-school prep, and trying to squeeze in every ounce of sunshine before fall officially arrives. In the middle of the chaos, I found myself leaning on a handful of things that made life a little easier (and a little prettier). From everyday wellness staples to wardrobe updates and even a few fun family finds, these are the things I bought and truly loved this past month.

Oura Ring – I’ve been loving the Oura for keeping an eye on sleep and wellness — such a helpful little tool for everyday.

Tuckernuck Mini Trench – A classic trench reimagined in a shorter silhouette — polished, easy, and perfect for transitional weather.

Skirt + Matching Top – I couldn’t resist this set; it’s chic yet comfortable, and I love that it works just as well together as it does mixed with basics.

Parker Tee – The kind of tee you grab on repeat — soft, flattering, and exactly what I want to wear with everything from denim to skirts.

Madewell Barrel Jean – The easy, laid-back jean with just the right amount of structure — my new go-to for everyday.

Collagen Peptides – I add a scoop to my coffee every morning (Adam does too); easy, no-fuss boost.

Suede Belt – The belt I keep reaching for—simple, chic, and instantly pulls a look together.

Gingham Tablecloth – Such a good price for an everyday-elevated table; pretty and practical.

Air Popcorn Popper – Afternoon lifesaver—my kids make popcorn after school almost every day.

Slip-On Sneakers – Love these for everyday — chic, comfortable, and easy to slip on and go.

Dinner time can feel like a daily juggling act, but I’ve found that having a handful of tried-and-true recipes makes all the difference. These are five meals that never fail in our house — they’re simple enough for weeknights, delicious enough for everyone to enjoy, and best of all, kid-approved.

1. Blackened Salmon with Mango Salsa and Avocado

Fresh, flavorful, and so quick to pull together. The sweet mango salsa balances the spice on the salmon perfectly, and the creamy avocado makes it a hit with the whole crew.

2. Italian Basil Chicken Cutlets

Crispy, golden, and full of flavor — these basil chicken cutlets are a comfort-food favorite. I usually serve them with roasted veggies or pasta for a complete meal.

3. Creamy Caesar Salad + Grilled Chicken

A classic Caesar gets an upgrade with a creamy, homemade dressing. Adding grilled chicken turns it into a hearty, family-friendly dinner that’s fresh and satisfying.

4. Honey Bourbon Steak Tips

Tender steak tips with a sweet and savory glaze — this one feels a little special but is still easy enough for a weeknight. Great with mashed potatoes or a simple green salad.

Game Day Essentials: Inside My Soccer/Tennis Mom Bag

These days, I feel like half of my life is lived on the sidelines. Between early morning practices, weekend games, and carpool drop-offs, my bag has become my survival kit. Over the years, I’ve learned what’s actually worth carrying- the things that keep me organized, comfortable, and ready for whatever the day throws at me. Here’s a peek inside my soccer/tennis mom bag:

What’s Inside My Soccer/Tennis Mom Bag

Sideline Staples

Sunscreen Stick– I keep a Supergoop! PLAY stick in my bag at all times. It’s quick to swipe on little faces before they run off to the field and easy for me to reapply, too.

Sunglasses- A pair of oversized sunnies instantly makes me feel put-together, even if I’ve been up since 6 a.m. with coffee in hand.

Towel or Blanket– A towel or blanket doubles as a seat cover or picnic mat, and I’ve used it more times than I can count when the grass is damp or the morning feels chilly. Finley also carries one in her tennis bag for her matches.

A Hat -because watching kids play for two hours in full sun is way more fun when you’re not squinting the whole time.

Snacks and Sips

Hydration – you can never have too many of these on hand.

Honey Sticks or Applesauce Pouches- These are my little sideline hack. The kids love them, they’re not messy, and they give a quick burst of energy between games or perfect for a half time pick me up.

Quick Fixes

Hair ties + first aid- Someone always needs a Band-Aid or a new ponytail holder. I keep both tucked into a small pouch so I don’t have to go digging.

Body Glide- Learned the hard way during tournament season… this is the only way to keep blisters away.

Cooling Towels- A little refresh that feels so good when it’s hot out.

For Me

Tinted Lip Balm- Because I may be on the sidelines but I still like to feel pulled together.

Detangling Brush– My kids borrow this as much as I use it- it’s become a permanent fixture in my bag.

The “Just in Case” Extras

Performance Grip Socks- Someone always forgets theirs, and it saves the day.

Athletic Tape- Between soccer and tennis, this always comes in handy. Plus the wrist tape is trending with the soccer boys.

Extra Grip- Nothing throws off your tennis game faster than a racket slipping in your hand. A quick regrip can save the match!

Having a bag that’s always ready to go has saved me countless times. It makes the chaos of sports season feel manageable, and honestly- it helps me enjoy those hours on the sidelines instead of dreading them. These little things keep us organized, hydrated, and happy… and that’s a win in my book!

Introducing the Coastal Fall Collection: NAVYBLEU x Margaret of York x Breck & Grier

This season, I’m thrilled to introduce a special collaboration that’s close to my heart: the Coastal Fall Collection with NAVYBLEU, featuring Breck & Grier. Inspired by the effortless style of coastal living and the warm grounding hues of fall, this collection blends timeless silhouettes, seasonal colors, and versatile pieces you’ll love wearing year after year. Whether you’re strolling along the beach on a crisp September morning, hosting friends on the porch, or layering up for a weekend getaway, these pieces are designed to take you seamlessly from late summer into autumn.

We brought the vision for the collection to life in Charleston, South Carolina, where cobblestone streets, pastel architecture, and sweeping coastal views made the perfect backdrop. Shot by photographer Katie Niemiec, the images capture the easy elegance and coastal charm that inspired every piece.

What Inspired the Coastal Fall Collection

The Coastal Fall Collection reimagines some of our most-loved prints and patterns from the Cove Hollow Collection in rich browns, warm neutrals, and a dreamy sky blue. The goal was to create pieces that feel like an extension of summer but with textures, tones, and layers that suit the cooler days ahead.

We also partnered with Breck & Grier to include their iconic handwoven totes- the perfect accessory to pair with your wardrobe. We even created a custom insert in the Emily Tote in Inkberry Brown for a special pairing.

The Coastal Fall Collection

The Alice Skirt

A best-seller for a reason, the Alice Skirt now comes in a beautiful brown floral print that’s both timeless and fresh. Pair it with a simple blouse for daytime or layer with a knit sweater as the temperature drops.

The Margaret Set

For an easy, polished look, the Margaret Set combines the Alice Skirt with a matching top. It’s perfect for everything from work meetings to weekend brunch, and it transitions beautifully into the evening with a change of shoes. It comes in sky blue and wiregrass brown.

The Madeline Jacket

Cooler mornings call for light layers, and our quilted jackets are a must-have. In neutral tones that pair with everything, these jackets add warmth without bulk-ideal for layering over dresses, skirts, or jeans. The Madeline Jacket is available in Sky Blue and Wiregrass Brown.

Brech & Grier Totes

No coastal-inspired collection would be complete without the perfect carryall. Breck & Grier’s handwoven totes are both practical and chic, whether you’re carrying them to the market, the beach, or on a weekend trip. Each one is designed to last and age beautifully over time.

How to Style the Coastal Fall Collection

One of my favorite things about this collection is how versatile it is. You can:

  • Wear the Margaret Set with sandals in August, then with boots and a jacket in October.

  • Pair the Alice Skirt with a tank or crisp blouse for a coastal look or a chunky knit or blazer for a fall-ready feel.

  • Use a Breck & Grier tote as your go-to bag for errands, travel, or even as a stylish work bag.

These pieces aren’t just for one season- they’re designed to be wardrobe staples that carry you through multiple seasons in style.

Where to Shop the Collection

The Coastal Fall Collection is available now exclusively through NAVYBLEU and Breck & Grier. So whether you’re looking for a statement skirt, a timeless set, or the perfect fall tote, this collaboration is all about elevated coastal style for the new season.

The Timeless Summer Pieces I’m Grabbing from the LANDS’ END Prime Day Sale

Every July, I look for a selection of truly great Prime Day deals—pieces that resonate with my style, that I’ll wear frequently, and that are versatile enough for both a porch in Illinois and poolside in Florida. This year, Lands’ End really hit the mark with timeless summer staples: think crisp canvas totes, easy white gauze dresses, and flattering swimsuits. In this post, I’m sharing exactly what I purchased from their Prime Day sale and why these are the kinds of items you’ll want to wear year after year.

LANDS’ END PRIME DAY SALE

Lands’ End is a brand that consistently offers timeless silhouettes, high-quality fabrics, and pieces that last from one season to the next. During Prime Day, the prices are unbeatable, making it the perfect opportunity to stock up on my favorite classics. I love their iconic canvas totes, flattering swimsuits, and breezy layers, all available at a fraction of the usual cost. Whether I’m dressing for the porch, the pool, or a last-minute weekend getaway, Lands’ End always has something that suits the occasion.

My Favorite Prime Day Finds from LANDS’ END and How I Styled Them

Let’s get into the good stuff-the actual pieces I added to cart and why they’re worth grabbing while they’re on sale. These aren’t trendy one-hit wonders. They’re versatile, well-made, and effortlessly classic- exactly the kind of staples I build my summer wardrobe around.

The Iconic Canvas Tote

I’ve loved this tote bag for years and use it constantly. It’s roomy, structured, and monogrammable-which makes it a go-to for everything from farmers markets to beach days. Currently, it’s available for under $30 and comes in multiple sizes.

The White Gauze Skirt and Top

This was an instant yes. Lightweight, breathable, and versatile, perfect for dressing up or down. I’ve already worn the shirt open over a swimsuit and the skirt over my swimsuit! It’s perfect as a set for dinner on the porch. Timeless, flattering, and perfectly breezy.

The Coastal Classic Swimsuit

I am picky about swimwear, and these hit the mark. They are supportive, lined, and subtly chic. The colorblock swimsuit has a modern feel yet remains classic enough to wear year after year. The white swimsuit is a must-have for me because it pairs beautifully with any pareo or beach cover-up.

The Perfect Shirt Dress

The ultimate throw-on shirt dress. Great as a cover-up, a travel layer, or styled with white denim for a coastal preppy look. It’s such an easy layering piece, whether styled or unbuttoned. Perfect from the beach to iced tea runs. I went with a size small, and it has a very relaxed fit. For a sleeker look, I recommend sizing down.

Why These Pieces Are Timeless

What I love most about these pieces is that they don’t chase trends—they transcend them. A crisp canvas tote, a classic white gauze set, and a flattering one-piece swimsuit are the building blocks of a well-edited wardrobe. These items remain relevant year after year, whether you’re styling for summer at home, enjoying beach days away, or layering them with a cardigan and denim for early fall. The silhouettes are simple, the fabrics are dependable, and the overall look is always effortlessly polished. This is the kind of style I keep returning to—it’s worth investing in, especially during the Prime Day Sale.

Shop the Sale Before It’s Gone

If you have been waiting for a sign to refresh your summer staples or finally grab that Lands’ End tote you’ve had your eye on, this is it. These pieces are well-made, classic, and marked down just for Prime Day. You can shop the entire Lands’ End sale here on their Amazon storefront. Grab them while they’re part of the Prime Day Sale- I promise, these are the kinds of pieces that stay in your closet and your rotation.
