Friday Favorites | My Finds

Happy Friday, Friends! For this Friday’s Favorites I’ve gathered together some of my favorite finds from this week. A mix of fashion and home decor, here are some of my most favored items to inspire your shopping!

This cream embroidered blouse and this royal shirt dress are at the top of my list, especially because they’re not only beautiful, but they’re also versatile items to help you transition your wardrobe from dressing for those sunny summer days to the upcoming chilly fall nights.

This short sleeve blue seersucker shirt is another favorite of mine, and dressing up or down in any season is doable when you add this pippa cardigan to your fit. And, of course, ring in the last stretch of summer by dressing in a pair of cute sandals, whether they’re white leather or mustard gingham.

This large Bali Bag has been a longtime favorite of mine. These bags are handwoven and created from ata grass making each one unique, and they come adorned with a cute tassel giving you the option to choose from over fifteen different tassel colors.

If you’re needing a place in your home to hang your bags, I’m really loving a rattan wall hook that will add a natural, bohemian look to whatever space it’s placed. Add more textures to your home decor with this gorgeous rattan wrapped table lamp or this handwoven, rattan coffee table. This rattan lania mirror is destined to bring a coastal vibe to your bathroom, bedroom, or living room. And this wicker framed counter stool will help elevate your kitchen counter.

You can also play with patterns in your bedroom by switching your current headboard with this cushy indigo floral novak headboard as well as changing up your bedding and shams to a fun block print. This blue striped pouf is another favorite of mine that can be used as an ottoman or top it with a tray and use it as a side table.

Last but most certainly not least on this week’s list of favorites is this marana ceramic table lamp which has an antique milk jug-inspired base and decorative handles, the perfect piece to add a bit of eclectic charm to any space.

I’m always on the lookout for good home and fashion finds, and I love sharing them with you! If you want to see more of my lists of favorites, check out my most recent Amazon Finds and What I’m Loving Lately.

Friday Favorites | Amazon Finds

Disclosure: This post may contain affiliate links that I may earn a small commission from, at no additional cost to you. I only recommend products I would or have used myself.

Happy Friday, Friends! One of my favorite things to shop for is a good Amazon find. Amazon has so many good deals and great items, and if you’re needing to purchase something and have it shipped to you immediately, Prime shipping comes in to save the day! So today, I’ll be sharing with you my favorite Amazon finds!

To start with, I’ve found a couple of super cute dresses on Amazon! This ditzy flower midi dress is so pretty, not to mention it’s a really breathable and comfortable option that comes in a few different colors, like green, blue, yellow, black, red, and purple. I also love this blue plaid puff sleeve boho midi dress that you can wear off-shoulder. It would be perfect for a picnic or a dinner date. And, both of these dresses would pair well with woven sandals and a straw clutch to get you ready and on with your day.

If you’re looking for a good set of pajamas on Amazon, these blue striped pajamas are a great option and they’re unisex, so you and your significant other can each grab a pair to match! They also come in heather grey, light pink, and navy to give you different colored options to choose from.

Grab a pair of jammies for your kids, too! This set of star-patterned pajamas is a super cute option and you can get them in blue or purple. I also love these sage green children’s pajamas and they would make a great breathable choice for those really warm summer nights. Another favorite find of mine from the children’s clothing is this adorable floral knit dress. And these water-friendly, rubber Native shoes are a great comfy summer option for kids to wear around the pool, the beach, or even on a rainy day.

Amazon is one of my favorite places to shop for home accessories, especially pillow covers. A couple of my favorite pillow cover finds on Amazon include this Laura Ashley Milo Euro Sham, this Lisa Fine floral patterned cover, and this Flowershave357 cover in blue and white. This heavy-duty storage trunk made from water hyacinth is another favorite find of mine to use for storing blankets, toys, and really any items in your home that you need help hiding. I’m also loving this blue wall sconce lamp which would be a great addition to use as a bedside lamp or a bathroom vanity light.

Lastly, snag this set of 4 blue-striped beach towels and this set of 7 travel packing cubes to help you prepare for your beach vacation. The towels are really thick and will definitely help to keep you and your family dry when taking breaks from the water, and the travel set has everything you need to keep you organized, including bags for your shoes, toiletries, and makeup.

From children’s clothes to home accessories to shoes as well as items to get you vacation ready, it’s almost impossible not to find what you’re needing on Amazon. And, if you want some extra shopping inspiration, check out these Five Summer Clothing Essentials to Find on Amazon Fashion.

Friday Favorites | What I’m Loving Lately

Happy Friday, Friends! I love getting together a list of all my favorite items to share with you, and this week I’ve stumbled on some good finds! Here is a mix of all the things that I’m loving lately.

To start off the list, I’m loving all of the sleeveless summer dresses in beautiful floral patterns! My favorite nara dragonfly garden dress is one is sadly sold out but I also love this striped version. I’m also loving the ruffles on this blue and white floral dress. And, although it’s not sleeveless, this blue and white midi dress looks so classic and cozy and has a beautiful ancient garden design that will make it look like you’re wearing a pretty painting.

All of the floral patterns have been on my list of favorites lately, especially this blue and grey floral mix shirt, and this floral V-neck one-piece swimsuit is a great option if you’re needing a new suit for the pool or the beach. And, whether you’re wearing your favorite summer dress or a nice blouse and a pair of shorts, you can’t go wrong with these amber gingham bow clogs.

Thinking of taking some time to update your office space? I love a good rattan desk to add a traditional and earthy tone to an office. This pretty woven rattan desk or this reeded rattan desk would be great options.

You can also include more rattan in your home décor to add a bit of natural texture to your space. I’m really loving this rattan Macon chair which is such a sculpturally fun piece to play with in your office or living room. And this rattan end table is another good piece that’ll mix well with any style and bring with it a bohemian coastal vibe.

Update your kitchen table with this sleek white dining table. And for some fun feminine lighting grab this scallop trimmed hanging lantern. This piece is so gorgeous and is certain to elevate the space it lives in. I’m also loving this chic and simple ripple shower curtain with its two-toned design, and the wavy, blue border would give a modern edge to your bathroom.

Last on my list is the luna lumbar pillow in white and indigo. This accent pillow is the perfect complement to your outdoor furniture, and it is super durable, mold-resistant, and easy-to-clean.

A Colorful Summer

Disclosure: This post may contain affiliate links that I may earn a small commission from, at no additional cost to you. I only recommend products I would or have used myself.

Happy Tuesday, Friends! I love seeing all of the beautiful, bright colors of summer and it seems like we’re seeing all of them coming out this season! So, here are some of my favorite finds in this year’s summer colors.

Pink

Dress yourself up in all of the pretty shades of pink. From this gorgeous nap dress to this sleeveless dress to this tropical print dress, there are so many pink options to choose from. I also love this cotton candy colored open weave pullover which is perfect to wear out and about or on a beach day.

This floral tablecloth is another good pink find as well, and this set of pink beach club striped sheets would really help brighten up a bedroom.

Red & Orange

Pink’s sister color, Red, is also a great color for this summer. This red tropical print maxi dress is so pretty and the print also plays with shades of pink, green, and yellow. And this striped knit tunic is so soft and a great option for those cool summer days.

Coral is always a great summer color, especially for those trips to the beach, and I’m loving this coral summer dress. And, if you’re looking to add pops of color to your home, the book “St. Tropaz Soleil” by Simon Liberati has a bright and gorgeous orange cover and would be a great addition to your coffee table.

Yellow

What would summer be without yellow? Brighten up your table with this sunflower gingham dining bench which can be used both indoor and outdoor. And take a bit of yellow to the beach with you by grabbing this sunflower gingham sling chair.

If you’re looking to wear your yellow this summer, you can’t go wrong with this adorable lemon meringue mini dress!

Green

This green zinnia top would look great tucked into your favorite pair of jeans, or this green and pink floral print maxi dress would be a comfy, cute summer option.

And you can add accents of green to your home with these green and blue pillowcases in either a pretty floral print, a fun dotted pattern, or both!

Blue

I absolutely love these blue rattan earrings that would dress up any outfit you choose to wear them with. And this sky blue dress has such a classic look to it, you could wear it to a tea party or a family get together. This blue floral printed tory burch swimsuit has pretty accents of red and yellow, and is another favorite find of mine.

Add shades of blue to your home with this gorgeous blue linen console or this blue dalmatian print x bench. And this photo, “Bounce” by SJ Johnson, with its calming bluish teal background and pops of pink, would add a bit of character to the wall you placed it on.

White & Naturals

White will help to keep you cool this summer, especially if you’re wearing this puff sleeved top or this classic linen button down. And for a clean, neutral feel in your home, add this white nightstand to your bedroom or this white, blue-lined scalloped mirror to your bathroom.

And anything rattan, wicker, or rush is great to add to encourage a more down-to-earth vibe. So snag these rush hand woven dining chairs for your kitchen or dining room. When it comes to your outfit, this cute straw tote handbag would look great with any summer colors you wear!

This summer is all about being playful with the wide array of colors we have to choose from our rainbow. So have fun, stand out, and enjoy playing around with your wardrobe and adding pops of color to brighten up your home!

Red, White, and Blue

Disclosure: This post may contain affiliate links that I may earn a small commission from, at no additional cost to you. I only recommend products I would or have used myself.

Happy Tuesday, Friends! We’re so excited to celebrate the Fourth of July this weekend and I’ve had so much fun gathering a list of all things red, white, and blue! To help you prepare for the upcoming fun and festivities, here are a few of my favorite items.

Red

This off-the-shoulder floral printed dress is probably my favorite find and it’s definitely on my shopping list. It’s a beautiful dress to wear to a party or celebration, and I hope to buy it and wear it while on vacation in Italy one day. I also love this gingham smocked-bodice dress which is perfect for a Fourth of July picnic in the park.

Snag this pretty eyelet ruffle strap tank top to wear with a pair of white shorts or blue jeans for a more relaxed look. And, a red and white striped beach towel is a great item to take with you to the beach or pool along with this pretty blue beach chair.

White

This light and airy white long-sleeve top with red and blue stripes has all of the freedom vibes. But, if you’re wanting a more classic look, this cotton dress or this smocked dress are perfect for those cocktail parties you might be attending this weekend.

This adorable ruffle-strap button-up tank top would pair well with jean shorts. And I love this half-zip pullover which would be great to wear out on the lake.

Blue

If you’re going swimming on the Fourth and in need of a new suit, this bow-tie one-shoulder one-piece or this tie shoulder stripe swimsuit are both super cute options! And a blue gingham tiered midi dress or sea navy, embroidered gingham top are also festive and fun additions to your weekend wardrobe!

Dress up your home for the fourth by adding some blue accessories, like a blue fringe pillow or a lake striped pillow case. And this set of wicker nesting tables are so gorgeous! Decorate them by adding a pretty blue and white round tray that’s laid out with some of your favorite things.

Grab a Yeti wine rambler and a blue gingham cooler to take with you when you and your family go to watch the fireworks and you’re all set to have a super fun and fabulous Fourth of July weekend!

Last, but definitely not least, these heeled raffia sandals would dress up any outfit you plan on wearing and they’re absolutely adorable!

We all have so many reasons to celebrate this weekend, and I’m really looking forward to spending it with my family and loved ones. I hope you, too, have a fun-filled Fourth of July!

Quick Ship Items From Serena and Lily - Friday Favorites - Margaret of York.jpg

Disclosure: This post may contain affiliate links that I may earn a small commission from, at no additional cost to you. I only recommend products I would or have used myself.

Happy Friday, Friends!

The pandemic has changed many things for us these days. Unfortunately, it seems that one of the things it’s changed is the ability to get furniture and items for your home in a timely manner. You end up playing The Waiting Game while your purchases take months to finally make their way to you, and that can be an issue when you’re ready to get your home updated and in order. For those of you wanting to find furniture that you can get as soon as possible, I’ve gathered a list of quick ship items from Serena and Lily to share with you. And the best part? All of these will ship within 1-4 weeks!

Living Room

I love quick ship cushion options when it comes to couches and chairs. This Mattituck Armchair, Costa Pinstripe Sofa, and Pacifica Loveseat in driftwood all ship out within 2-4 weeks. Not to mention, the blue pinstripe sofa would be a fun, coastal-like addition to your sunroom and the driftwood loveseat would look perfect on your patio.

This Market Side Table has a fun, white top that comes off so you can store items inside! Or snag this Blake Side Table in natural, fog, or indigo, and add the matching Blake Raffia-wrapped Console along with it which can fit two stools underneath.

I love the beautiful mix of materials on this Cabot Square Coffee Table which would look good with any living room design, or this Driftway Coffee Table in coastal blue would add a calm, cool vibe to your room. This Driftway Console Table in chalk or a Beach House Entry Table would add extra table space for showcasing some of your favorite items. I’m also loving this Bar Island Partners Desk which is such a great find because there’s enough room for two people to work side-by-side.

And, of course, my FAVORITE super versatile South Seas Bar Cart can be on its way to you in 2-4 weeks as well!

Dining Room

The legs on this Reese Dining Table are so beautiful and get me every time, and it’s an absolutely gorgeous table to see in person. It would be a beautiful addition to any dining space. But if rectangular dining isn’t quite your style or doesn’t fit your space, the Downing Dining Table and the Beach House Breakfast Table are pretty, round tables that would also make good dining options.

The Tucker Counter Stool in midnight and the Tucker Dining Chair in fog or midnight are great quick ship options for your beach house and they’re easy to wipe down and clean.

Bedroom

Need a new bed frame for your bedroom? With its gorgeous wicker frame, this Del Rey Bed is to die for and there’s no footboard to worry about getting in the way of long legs. The Whitaker Four Poster Bed in king-size is available for quick shipping as well as the Costa Bed. The Coast Bed would also be a great alternative to the Balboa Bed which is backordered until December.

If you need a new dresser, the Driftway Wide Dresser in chalk, the white Pierson Dresser in wide or tall, and the Balboa Dresser are all great quick shipping options.

Beach Must-Haves

Happy unofficial summer! The sunny season is officially here and there’s no better way to spend it than soaking up the sun’s rays on a beautiful beach somewhere. So make sure to prep for that much-needed vacation by gathering all of your beach must-haves. It can be overwhelming to remember everything you need so I’ve rounded up all of my favorite beach essentials.
I love having so many options when shopping for the perfect folding beach chair. One of my favorites is this cabana chair bundle. Not only does it come with its own pillow, but you can choose from over 100 different patterned fabrics when designing your chair and pillow pair. Or you can grab this teak beach chair in a classic white or pretty gingham coastal blue. I also love this striped chair that would be perfect for the beach or for using at any outdoor event.

Don’t forget to grab an umbrella for those moments when you need a break from the sun! This is definitely a beach must-have. You can pair this tide stripe umbrella or this white umbrella with their matching teak beach chairs. I also love this scalloped umbrella with contrasting piping. Or a striped navy blue or a bold navy blue umbrella would be a good addition to your beach trip.

And you will definitely need a really good beach towel. Pack these blue cabana striped beach towels in your beach bag. These Turkish beach towels come in a variety of different colors and are quick-drying. Last year I used these monogramed Turkish towels on my girls trip to Palm Beach. I’m also partial to this vintage stripe towel and this Riveria scalloped towel.

Bring a quilted beach house blanket along so you have a place to comfortably relax on the sand. And for those moments when you need a refreshment or two, use this pinstripe cooler or this insulated wine tote to keep your drinks cold and a reusable snack bag to store your smaller food items.

A good beach bag can make or break a successful beach day and is always top of my list of things to pack for my beach must-haves. I love this waterproof tote for its size and how easy it is to wipe clean. This straw tote with striped handles is so cute and I love the colors of this oversized tote. Then I use these clear travel pouches to keep my smaller items all corraled together. They can easily go from your purse to your beach bag. To protect my skin, I use Supergoop’s Unseen Sunscreen and a face covering like this sunhat. Weezie just debuted their tote that perfectly fits their straw hat and I’m excited to test it out this year.

I’ve received a few new swimwear items to try out this summer. There’s this adorable two-piece skirt swim set and this classic wrap one-piece that I plan on pairing with this beautiful beach sarong. You can find more of my vacation picks over on my Shop page.

I’m so happy it’s finally summer and I can’t wait to enjoy some of my own summer days relaxing on the beach with my family. The last beach must-have I’ll be making sure to bring with me is a good book to enjoy, so don’t forget yours! If you’re needing some reading inspiration for your upcoming vacation check out My Top Ten Summer Beach Reads.

Friday Favorites - Margaret of York (6.18.21).jpg

It’s another beautiful Friday and I’ve spent my week working on a gorgeous install. I love being inspired while creating with my favorite things – soft shades of coastal blues and textured naturals in raffia and wicker! When working on my own living space or someone else’s, it’s so important to keep home essentials in mind because they’re the sugar and spice that give a home its personality. For this Friday’s Favorites, I’ll share some of my fun finds to inspire your own creative home design.

This Friday’s top find is this 7-piece blush dining set. This shade of pink is just lovely and the style has such a classy feel to it. If you’re wanting a smaller option for indoor or outdoor dining, a marble top bistro-style table would be the perfect addition, and you can pair it with these woven rattan dining chairs in sage or grey.

I am also loving this bright, yellow-striped sofa which has a cool, retro look to it, and it’s perfect for inside or outdoors. A white sofa would be a good option if you’re wanting more subtle seating and grab a patterned ottoman or two to add a little extra fun to your arrangement.

When it comes to lighting, I’m drawn to any option that has a raffia or wicker shade. Whether it’s a floor lamp or a table lamp, a natural shade adds such beautiful texture to your living space. Pendant lights, like this modern version of a candlestick lantern, are also great additions to help elevate and brighten a room!

I especially love adding light blue highlights to my living spaces. Whether it’s the simplicity of a pair of blue gingham and striped towels to hang in the kitchen, a Beautiful book to help decorate the coffee or end table, or a coastal blue wave duvet cover to dress up the bedroom, shades of blue help to encourage some much-needed calm around the house.

One of my other favorite home essentials is a wicker bar cart or rattan bar table because they’re so versatile and can be used in any part of your home. Store your bar cart with your favorite wine and drinking glasses or decorate it with a candle and a vase full of flowers to give it character. I also love placing a beautiful mirror above my bar cart to fill an empty wall and build on the space.

When deciding what essentials to use in your home, pick the items you feel drawn to most and the ones you know will add a little bit of charm to your home. And, if you need more inspiration to help you find the right essentials to fit your home, take a look at some of my favorite Serena and Lily finds, my Summer Home Refresh ideas, and the items I have in my own Living Room.

My Living Room Round Up

IMG_6194.JPG

Disclosure: This post may contain affiliate links that I may earn a small commission from, at no additional cost to you. I only recommend products I would or have used myself.

When you have a large family, creating a living room space that is livable and functional for everyone is a must and it’s possible to do so in a beautiful way. When I design, I’m always keeping in mind family-friendly furniture that is durable, easy to clean and wipe down, and able to be dressed up with pretty little details. So, I want to share with you my living room round-up to help you find the perfect fit for your own family’s living space.

When it comes to furniture, using this Perennials basketweave fabric is a necessity. It’s my go-to fabric for my furniture, and I’ve used it for my couch’s slipcover as well as my loveseat. It’s perfect to use in your living room because it’s high quality that is resistant to mold, mildew, and stains, and it has a great texture that has a casually luxurious look. I’ve also dressed up our couches with various decorative pillows in soft shades of green and blue since it’s a must to play around with patterned pillows.

This abalone rug is currently in my living room as well, and I love it because it’s easy to keep clean by washing it in the washing machine. On my rug, I’ve placed this family-friendly outdoor coffee table which is beautiful and has a timeless character with its wicker frame, and, since it’s an outdoor coffee table, it’s very durable and easy to wipe down and clean. Above my coffee table, I’ve added this open-weave pendant which adds such beautiful textured lighting to my living room.

I use this round rattan-wrapped accent table as an end table, and it’s one of my favorite living room accessories because it fits easily just about anywhere and it has such a fun and clean design. I love redecorating it often and changing up the items I choose to display on its shelves. You can decorate your coffee table or end table simply with beautiful glass beads, a round tray, ginger jars, a candle, a table lamp, and a gorgeous stack of coffee table books.

Coffee table books are full of inspiration, great resources, and always pretty to display! I personally love using books in shades of coastal blues, and a couple I keep on my coffee table include Veranda: The Art of Outdoor Living, Coastal Blues: Mrs. Howard’s Guide to Decorating with the Colors of the Sea and Sky, and More Beautiful.

You can also use any of these pretty details to decorate your wall or bookshelves as well as adding your favorite photos in these gorgeous scalloped frames and organizing items you’d rather keep hidden in these beach house storage baskets. And, don’t forget to hang up all kinds of living room art to spice up those bare walls.

It’s important to create a home the whole family can enjoy and it’s always possible to do so in a beautiful and functional way. If you need more inspiration on how to design your living room, check out my Summer Home Refresh ideas and read about How to Style your Bookshelf.

Friday Favorites | Summer Fashion Finds

Happy Friday! I feel like summer is bringing with it so many fun fashion trends, and I’ve gathered some of my favorite finds to inspire your shopping spree! This summer we’re wearing whites and ruffles and dressing it up with big hats and sunglasses while enjoying the upcoming summer months.

Starting with dresses, if you’re wanting color, flaunt a boho-style printed maxi dress or this pretty pink floral maxi dress. So many dresses this summer are coming with ruffles like this basic blue dress, and I especially love the ruffles on this lavender dress – it’s sweet and romantic, and perfect for a summer date. Wear any of these dresses with these white scalloped espadrilles or white sandals to keep it clean and classic.

Eyeleted clothing is also in this season and there are so many pretty options in white to choose from. I have this white eyelet maxi dress and I love it! You can also snag this white eyelet mini dress or this eyelet top and dress up your white with patterned sandals, like these fun mustard gingham slides. You can also accessorize any of your outfits with a natural, woven raffia tote or bag and a pair of gold hoop earrings.

If you’re heading to the pool or the beach, add ruffles to your swimwear with a fun plaid french bikini set and, of course, wear a big sun hat and tortoise sunglasses on those hot summer days. I also think this seychelles tunic is perfect for enjoying a cocktail (or two) while relaxing on the beach, and if you need a good book to read while you sit in the sand, check out my Top Ten Summer Beach Reads!

Happy Friday and happy June! We’re so ready for summer and if you’re wanting to refresh your home to liven up your space for the upcoming summer months, I’ll be sharing with you this Friday’s Favorites to help inspire your home refresh ideas.

One of my absolute favorite finds this week is this beautiful hanging daybed. Add this piece to your front porch to comfortably enjoy those cool summer nights, and dress it up with all kinds of pillows in colorful and patterned pillow covers.

Add some new lighting and chairs around your house. This open weave bamboo table lamp will add some texture to whatever room it’s in, and this caned picture light sconce is a gorgeous piece to help highlight one of your favorite paintings or pictures. Add new seating options to your living room with this slatted wood accent chair or this blue rocking chair. And new counter stools, like this french blue pinstripe swivel stool or this rattan framed bistro-inspired stool, are a great way to update and enhance your dining room.

This sage floral headboard or this clean and classic white nightstand would look great in a bedroom! You can even include this sage floral ottoman in the mix, or use it in another room in your home. This textured, braided hyacinth stool would look great in any room and so would this cute wicker basket.

A favorite of mine to help upgrade your kitchen or dining room is this rattan-wrapped pedestal dining table. Dress it with these colorful raffia placemats and these pretty pink and green floral napkins when setting the table for dinner, and use beautiful, fresh flowers placed in a pretty vase as a centerpiece. Flowers are one of the best ways to freshen up any room in your home. You can also snatch this blue rattan and pine breakfast tray to enjoy breakfast in bed and start your summer days out on the right foot!

Developing a Self Care Routine

Disclosure: This post may contain affiliate links that I may earn a small commission from, at no additional cost to you. I only recommend products I would or have used myself.

June is here! It’s so crazy how fast this year is already going by, and the cool, spring days are officially melting into warm, long, and hopefully fun summer nights. Of course, these days being busy doesn’t feel like it used to, and now that the world is opening back up, it seems like there’s always something to do or somewhere to go.

There’s always work – whether it’s for my job or tasks that need done around the house. And even though the kids are no longer in school, they’ve traded school days for summer sports and other activities. And then there’s those beautiful summer vacations, but even vacations take work.

However, in the midst of it, we can’t forget to continue taking care of ourselves so that we can keep giving and pouring from a full cup.

Thinking about my own self care routine, I try my best to make a little Me Time everyday and do at least one or more things on my list. So, here’s my list of self care routines to help inspire your own self care ideas.

Morning

In the mornings, I like to wake up early, maybe even an hour before I expect the kids to be up, and have some quiet time to myself while enjoying a cup of coffee. Sometimes I sit on the porch and soak in the warmer temps. If it’s a cooler time of year I like to curl up with a blanket on the sofa.

I always start the day with a workout. The best way for me to clear my head is with a morning run. And nothing makes my morning runs better than listening to an uplifting and motivating playlist to set the tone of my day while wearing a good pair of shoes and comfy workout clothes. Sometimes if I am in a hurry I like to grab a coffee or juice from my local coffee shop after.

Mid-morning / Midday / Afternoon

Eating healthy throughout the day always keeps me feeling my best and it’s one of the best things we can do to love and care for ourselves. I make sure to nourish my body not feed it. Lot’s of greens, veggies, and fruit. Sometimes I’ll pull out my juicer for a green juice or make a smoothie.

I also love spending time working in the garden, doing some yard work, or planting and replanting my indoor plants in beautiful pots. I especially love working in the dirt when I’m stressed because it helps keep me grounded.

Night

Having a good bedtime routine that helps you relax and wind down can be another essential self care tool. A relaxing bath is a great option, especially if you weren’t able to get your morning Me Time. Relax in a bubble bath or use a good bath bomb or bath salts to help soothe you.

Then, end your night with a little bit of reading before bed and wind down in a nice, comfy pair of pajamas.

As this summer starts, do me a favor and make a little time for yourself each day. You won’t regret it and you’ll have a better day just by taking time to love and care for YOU.
