Adding Fall Touches to Your Home

This time of year, I enjoy adding fall touches to our home. Fall is when we start spending more time indoors and settling into our homes for the season. We add layers for warmth, spend more time in our kitchen, create new playlists, and get cozy.

One of the easiest ways to bring in the cozy is by bringing the outdoors in. I love finding branches with fall leaves and putting them in vases around our house. This is also a very cost-effective way to decorate for the season. Another great way to layer in fall touches is with throw blankets. Not only do they add warmth, but they can also bring in a pop of color or pattern. I also love to incorporate brass decor. This can include anything from candleholders to picture frames to trays. The warm tones of brass add a touch of sophistication while still being on-trend for the season.

And speaking of candles, they are a great way to add a warm and inviting atmosphere to any room. A favorite fall-scented candle or battery-operated candles can help you create a cozy ambiance that’s perfect for fall. I love fall evenings by the fireplace with a glass of wine and burning a favorite candle. With these simple touches, you can transform your home into a cozy and inviting space that’s perfect for the season.

If you are into seasonal items like pumpkins, try mixing those into your decor. I love our blue and white porcelain pumpkins (I have this one and this cute little one). They blend so well with these rattan vases. It is a simple yet effective way to add touches of fall to your home.
