Our early 1900’s farmhouse does not have what one could call a proper entry.  When you come in the front door you immediately enter into our living room.  When you enter the back door you step into our mudroom/laundry space.  Most of our friends and family always enter our home through the back door and I wanted to create a proper station of sorts where our guests and our family could drop keys and hang a jacket.
